Dr. Kevin Miller
Kevin Miller, MD completed his undergraduate degree at the UW-Madison, medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, and ophthalmology residency at the Eye and Ear Infirmary – University of Illinois, Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and participates in the American Board of Ophthalmology’s Maintenance of Certificate program. Dr. Miller obtains between 200-300 continuing education hours each year. For comparison, the State of Wisconsin requires 30 hours every two years from all practicing physicians.
Dr. Miller has a volunteer, adjunct, professor appointment with the Department of Ophthalmology, UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. He received the Aspirus Network Excellence in Healthcare Award in 2016 and the AMA’s Physician Recognition Award – 3 yr. Award with commendation in 2015.
Dr. Miller has been privileged to assist teaching the Wisconsin DNR’s bow, firearm, wingshooting and angler safety, and the NASP (National Archery in Schools Program) classes.
Dr. Miller’s practice philosophy is to always treat his patients as he himself would want to be treated – with empathy, compassion, active listening, and state-of-the-art knowledge, wisdom and experience.
